Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of bara.ge, our web application, and our mobile clients (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

What Bara is
Bara is a consumer-to-consumer second-hand marketplace focused on Georgia (including Tbilisi and Batumi). We provide listings, a multilingual feed, and messaging between users. Platform tools include automated moderation and translation.
Bara is not the seller or buyer in transactions between users. We do not take possession of items and we do not process payments between users at this stage.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or have parental consent where required by law. You must not be barred from using the Service by applicable law or a prior suspension.
Accounts
Sign-in is through Google. Keep your account secure, keep profile information accurate, and you are responsible for activity under your account. Do not create multiple accounts to evade rules. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts at our discretion.
Listings
You must have the right to sell what you list. Photos and descriptions must be truthful and lawful in Georgia and your area. Prohibited content is not allowed. Listings are subject to automated and human moderation; we may refuse, delay, unpublish, or remove listings. Listings expire or archive according to product rules; republishing may be subject to slot limits.
Prohibited conduct and content
You may not use the Service to post or promote:
- illegal goods or services, weapons, drugs, or stolen property;
- sexual, exploitative, hateful, violent, or harassing content;
- scams, phishing, impersonation, or collecting others’ data without permission;
- spam, scraping, overloading systems, or reverse-engineering the Service;
- interference with moderation or security; or
- unrelated commercial advertising unless explicitly allowed.
We may remove content, limit features, block users, or involve authorities when appropriate.
Messaging
Messaging should relate to listings. Do not harass, threaten, or use chats for unlawful purposes. We may process messages for translation and abuse prevention as described in our Privacy Policy.
Transactions between users
Deals are made directly between buyers and sellers. We do not guarantee the accuracy of listings or that a transaction will complete. We do not handle money for user deals and are not responsible for disputes, loss, or fraud between users except where law forbids limiting such liability. Meet in safe, public places and do not share unnecessary personal or financial data.
In-service balances
Stars, listing slots, and similar in-service balances are not cash, are not transferable outside the Service, and have no redeemable monetary value unless the product explicitly says otherwise. Future paid features will be described at the point of purchase.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Bara a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, translate, moderate, display, and distribute your content as needed to operate and improve the Service, including multilingual feed and search. You represent that your content does not infringe others’ rights.
Our intellectual property
Our software, design, and trademarks belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or create derivatives except as these Terms or law allow.
Automated processing
The Service uses AI, moderation, translation, and routing automation. Human review may occur. This is part of how the Service works.
Availability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features may change. We may perform maintenance without prior notice when needed.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that listings or communications are accurate, lawful, or safe.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bara and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill arising from the Service or user deals. Our total liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or (b) EUR 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.
Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify Bara and its operator against claims arising from your content, your use of the Service, your deals with other users, or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. You may permanently delete your account in the product at https://bara.ge/delete-account (also available from account settings and Android app settings). Deletion is immediate and irreversible from your perspective. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, risk, or discontinuation of the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive termination.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data.
Changes to these Terms
The current version is at https://bara.ge/terms. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia. Courts in Georgia have exclusive jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country requires otherwise.
